    Secure Storage (Hood River, OR; 12/23/09)

    Competitive Solar recently installed a 28.8 Kw solar system using state of the art amorophous silicon thin film modules. A total of 288, 100 Watt modules were used on the project.

    Metallion Industries (Estacada, OR; 12/15/09)

    Competitive Solar installed a 30 KW solar system at Mettalion industries in Estacada, OR. For the project Competitive Solar used Grape Solar.  The panels were 180 W solar modules.

    Solar Village

    Recently KATU News from Portland, OR came out to find out more about Solar Village:

    Located off of Belmont street in Hood River, OR is a new development of high efficiency homes known as, "Solar Village." Solar Village has a total of seven, high effiency homes constructed by Fritz Reuted. On the roof of each home there is a 4 Kw Photo-Voltaic (PV) solar system. Competitive Solar was asked by Fritz Reuter Construction to install the systems on these homes. One of the houses has had a family living in it for over a year now. The results over the year revealed that it cost about $360 to operate the entire home. Yes, less than $1 a day for the entire year.
